The author will be introducing a paper in which she discusses critical thinking and how this form of thinking has affected her personal in her own life.
The author believes that critical thinking is a process in which she can alter her thoughts, so that these thoughts are better understood.

Critical Thinking Defined
Critical thinking is a process in which a person actively participates, and with skill comes to conclusions that are based on what a person has seen, experienced, and what one may believe.
Critical thinking is therefore, the evaluation of those structures or basics of thought restricted to the way of thinking. This includes, but is not limited to such things as reasons, problems, and questions. Critical thinking has two specific parts, one being, a set of information and beliefs that are generated by processed skills, and habits of a person, which is based on his or her intellectual obligations and two, these skills, are thus used as a guide for the critical thinker.
When a Person Thinks
When a person thinks critically he or she is analyzing, joining different ideas together that will make him or her think in a different ways and by doing so, the person will see the situation in a different light. So, critical thinking is about how a person's observations, their experiences, their reflections, reasoning's, and communication are used to guide his or her actions. An interesting note, the critical thinking process varies depending on the motivations that underlie the critical thinking process. These motives are often seen in the form of manipulation of ideals of one's own or within groups of person's with the same or similar interests.
The Author's Experience
As stated in class threads she is quite thinker,...

...rking for what I get and feel the same way about others. People should earn the keep! The author now concerns herself with what are her employers going to think about her and will she be treated in the future by them. Her mind now needs to stop and realize that it does not matter and that all that does matter is that she reported it and did so as discreetly as possible.
In conclusion, critical thinking is a process that is self directed, self disciplined, self monitored, and self correcting. The critical thinking process is not something one is born with, critical thinking is taught; therefore, if critical thinking can be taught, then it surely can be learned.

Critical Thinking and Decision Making Essays - The process of critical thinking requires you to ask more questions of both others and of yourself before a decision or determination is made.
