The thieves ran faster, the pads of their feet slamming against the soft ground. “This way!” The leader ordered. He veered off the path into the thick underbrush. His men followed him into the forest as the sound of dogs barking grew louder. He created a wall of fire to block them from following and ran back to his men, who were a few hundred paces away. He ducked under a branch and tripped on a root. His men, being the loyal idiots they were, came back to help him. The soldiers knocked them over and bound their hands with rope. Francisco, being the proud Spaniard he was, put his hands on his hip and smiled down at the criminals he just caught.
“Well, well, well. I see we’ve caught ourselves a few witches. Can’t say I’ve caught one of them before.” Francisco grinned. The leader of the thieves, Viktor, stood.
“Actually, I’m the only witch.” He broke the rope behind him and held Francisco up by the throat. “And even that’s not accurate.” Viktor laughed as his hair and skin melted off his head, revealing a red skinned demon with long horns and dark goat legs.
Francisco gasped for air and fumbled around in his pocket before pulling out a cross. Viktor dropped him in pain and Francisco walked towards him, the cross glowing. “What’s wrong? Need a dose of holy water?” Francisco taunted. He was a cruel man, but a great general. His black hair wrapped around into a beard that swirled at odd shapes to give an almost sadistic appearance. “Submit to my forces or I kill you now.” Francisco ordered. Viktor fell to his knees and returned to his human form. His men were terrified. “Have your men not seen you in this way? They look as though they’ve seen a ghost.” Viktor didn’t answer. Francisco back-handed his face. “I asked if your men had seen ...

...risoner, you must see.” He told him.
“Why should I see a prisoner? What business do I have with him?” Lord Calloway inquired. He rolled the papers up and stood to put them in the bookshelf. It was overfilling with official paper and books. It was a collection that had been created over the last ten thousand years. Some were ready to fall apart. The Calloways had the oldest collection of literature on the planet. Professors from Asia, Africa, and other parts of Europe came every year just to see them. But Calloway never let anyone touch them, not even the other Families.
“He’s not just a prisoner. He summoned something in the cell. He has a shark’s teeth. A dead boy lays just a foot from him. He warned of your downfall. I do not believe he is human.” The guard explained. Lord Calloway whirled around, his face suddenly dark.
“Take me to see this prisoner. Immediately.”

Air Disaster- Creative Writing Essay - Air Disaster- Creative Writing The sight that greeted my eyes was haunting. There were dead bodies as far as the eye could see, but somehow nobody had a scratch on them. The plane was in pieces, scattered all around. The cliffs towered down on us; the sand burnt our feet as we trod carefully between the corpses. It was a shock; we hadn’t expected to find anything there, but it appeared that almost everyone who had been on the plane was lying here, on the beach, with us....   [tags: Creative Writing Examples] 956 words
