One inquiry that draws curiosity is the question of how all matter and life came about on Earth in this enormous universe of stars, planets, and space. Many people believe that life is a product of random probability, while many others place their faith in a define creator. This world, Earth, is a minor fraction of an enormous universe that was created by an intelligent being, which designed all matter and living creatures, and is too unpredictable to leave the creation of the universe to the random probability of evolution.
People who believe in the creation of the world have a certain viewpoint. Creation denotes the existence of a divine Creator who has exercised his creative abilities, creating this world and the life-forms [people] see (“Creation vs. Evolution” 1). The Christian perspective is that they think that humans were “created by God therefore depend upon him and subject to him for all truth and submit to the fact that truth is based on the infallible word of God” (“Fallacies of Evolution” 1). They also acknowledge that all things in creation including the gift of life come through God and were created by and for him (“Fallacies of Evolution” 1). Christians recognizing that they are created in God’s image are aware that their spirit is “like no other [living organism] in the Universe” (“Fallacies of Evolution” 1) and believe that life is the product of intelligent contrivance (“Creation vs. Evolution” 1).
A number of people believe in “a creator God who is transcendent of over and governor of the material universe”, a belief known as Theism (Sailhamer 133). People that have faith in Theism belief that only God is eternal and the material world, “which he created and governs, had a beginning and, if he so wills, has ...

question of why many people believe that God created the universe and all living things.
In closing of this chapter it is worthy to note that it is clear from the beginning that God existed before creation. Thirty four times the word God is paired with an action verb, clearly this chapter is about who God is and less stress is placed on the “how” of creation.

Young Earth creationists believe that Earth and everything on it was created by God between 5700 and 10000 years ago (Numbers, 2006). They believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible in terms of the age of the earth. They differ from old earth creationists who interpret Genesis metaphorically and believe that the Earth is 13.798 +- 0.037 old (Scott, 2000). Young earth creationists also interpret the passages in the bible of the flat Earth literally. They reject modern astronomy, physics, the big bang theory, the age of Earth and chemistry. They also reject biological modifications that happened throughout history. Young Earth creationists believe that God created every genetic variation in all living creatures on earth. Henry Morris was one of the biggest influences of young Earth creationism in the second half of the 20th century (Scott, 2000).
The creator can only determine the Christian worldview and the origin of life. As followers of Christ, we believe that in (Genesis 1:1) with just the spoken word, creation was set in place. This view is what theism places as the foundation of a belief in God. In its consistency through out the Bible our origin is displayed in faith and by understanding (Hebrews 11:3).
Creation or evolution? Such a question holds significant importance to the human race, raising further questions such as where did we come from, how did we get here, and more importantly where are we, the human race, going and where will we end up? Creationism, as cited from Oxford Dictionary, is “The belief that the universe and living organisms originate from specific acts of divine creation, as in the biblical account, rather than by natural processes such as evolution,” answers in its very definition one of humanity 's great questions referring to our origin. A religion such as Christianity, stated by the Bible and religious doctrine has its own set of answers to our origin as a human race. Similarly, the theory of Evolution is, as stated by the Oxford dictionary “The process by which different kinds of living organism are
Today many scientists would have people to believe that evolution is the only reasonable explanation of the universe. Scientists, like Stephen Hawking, claim that they have proved that evolution is the correct answer to the origins of life and the universe, yet evolution is still a theory. This problem occurs because evolution is not the only answer. In fact, the creation theory offers a more feasible answer to the origins of the universe than the evolution theory does. Creation has the backings of the Bible, an extraordinarily credible book; where evolution provides a theory with many holes in it.
There was a Dutchman named Hugo DeVries who found something interesting one day. He found a flower that had mutated. All of the Evolutionists went crazy over this and thought that this was their big breakthrough as to how life evolved. But scientists refute this claim because they can find no incident where a mutation is good. Every mutation that they have come across has hurt or damaged the organism. They describe a process called natural selection.
To a person with Christian worldview God is the creator the universe, he a trinity, and he is love. The universe is a divine creation of God. Chapter 1 of Genesis in the Old Testament takes us back to the beginning of time. It explains how God had the capability to create all that exist in the period of 6 days. He holds the power to create anything that he desires. Genesis gives us a look in how God create a human in his own image (English Standard Version, Genesis 1:26-27). God is capable of all doing what we cannot. As
The theory of evolution, as set forth by Charles Darwin in 1859, stated that all plant and animal life evolved over long periods of time from simple to more complicated forms through mutation and adaptation. He also taught that only the fittest of each species would survive. He further postulated that the first living cell evolved in a "warm warm little pond" and that it took billions of years for the present diversity of living things to evolve. At the time, it was thought that the few "missing links" in the fossil record would be soon filled.(Darwin, 1927 ). Today, however, there is today a considerable body of scientific evidence that refutes this entire theory.
A biblical worldview of the natural world is found with God’s creation. In the book of Romans, God’s divine nature and creation of the universe is revealed. Romans 1:19 states, “Since what may be known about God s plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.” The faithful understand and worship God as the creator of the universe and all life. It

There is a major controversy brewing in the educational field today. Scientist, teachers, professors, and many others are debating where the world and its habitats originally came from. This is the debate of Intelligent Design (ID) and Evolution. The main debating question of many scholars being, "Is the universe self-contained or does it require something beyond itself to explain its existence and internal function?".
