There are lots of real uses of mathematics in our life. All the mathematics terms base on counting. There is no concept of business without mathematics. We cannot deny the importance of mathematics in our daily life. Wherever we go (for example when we want to purchase something in the market), we need mathematics. And nowadays, technology is very important in our daily life, hence its system used mathematical rules. So we cannot deny the importance of mathematics in real life.
My topic for this mathematics report is to investigate the various applications of matrices, since people might not aware of the various applications of matrices in their daily life, while in reality they are using matrices concept whether directly or indirectly (for example in internet application, computer animation, etc.)
Matrices was discovered and developed in the 18th and 19th century, the development of matrices had to do with the transformation of geometry and solutions of linear equations. Historically the early emphasis was not on the matrix but on the determinant. Now when performing algebra, matrix is heavily considered as a factor. Matrix has its important factor in mathematics however physicists and biologists also have their fair use of matrices in terms of organizing and studying various phenomenons that occurs for example population growth.
Matrix is a topic that may look hard to conquer and difficult but is, in reality, simple to apply. Understanding matrices may help in locating and identifying the various applications of the matrix. Therefore, the main objective of this report is to inform people about the various applications of matrices not only in math but also in the real world. The possibility of people knowing about the va...

... number of variables, It can be used with amazing general principle.
Matrices are used with computing. If needed, it will be very easy to add the data together, like we do with matrices in mathematics. Matrices in computer design software are how the programs relate things mathematically. Without this computational power, there would be less large structures because it would be more difficult to design them efficiently.
From the above, we can see that there are many and very useful ways matrices could be applied in our everyday lives and even in the future.
Conclusion
From the results above, there are many applications of matrices that require general knowledge ho there are many applications of matrices that require general knowledge of how to add, subtract, multiply and find the inverse of a matrix and in this report it is applied in statistics and encryption.
The movie "Matrix" is drawn from an image created almost twenty-four hundred years ago by the greek philosopher, Plato in his work, ''Allegory of the Cave''.The Matrix is a 1999 American-Australian film written and directed by the Wachowski brothers. Plato, the creator of the Allegory of the Cave was a famous philosopher who was taught by the father of philosophy Socrates. Plato was explaining the perciption of reality from others views to his disciple Aristotle. The Matrix and the Allegory of the Cave share a simmilar relationship where both views the perciption of reality, but the Matrix is a revised modern perciption of the cave. In this comparison essay I am going to explain the similarities and deifferences that the Matrix and The Allegory of the Cave shares. In the Matrix, the main character,Neo,is trapped in a false reality created by AI (artificial intelligence), where as in Plato's Allegory of the Cave a prisoner is able to grasp the reality of the cave and the real life. One can see many similarities and differences in the film and the allegory. The most important similarity was between the film and the Allegory is the perception of reality.Another simmilarity that the movie Matrix and the Allegory of the Cave shares is that both Neo and the Freed man are prisoners to a system. The most important difference was that Neo never actually lived and experienced anything, but the freed man actually lived and experinced life.
The actual “matrix” described in the movie The Matrix provides the best example of a matrix. The “matrix” in the movie is a virtual reality implemented and created by machines to use human beings as a power supply. Their minds are trapped and they are unaware of the reality that they are simply batteries for the machines. Matrices are situations or surrounding circumstances within which something else originates, develops, or is contained. For example, in the explanation of the matrix above, human beings are in the matrix and their minds are contained within that matrix. However, containment is not the only type of matrix. Many different matrices exist in our lives. The educational system at California State University, Northridge can be considered a matrix. When students attend the university they start as one person, and through education and social experiences a new person is developed. Dick’s novel and The Matrix contain in their stories many mat...
entertainment, and countless others. All of these matrices are related with each other and with specific operations of individuals. The book and the movie demonstrate the interaction of multiple matrices, from single to multi-dimesional. It shows the destruction and the development of systems and the impact of one individual on the largest matrix, the human race.
Math is everywhere when most people first think of math or the word “Algebra,” they don’t get too excited. Many people say “Math sucks” or , “When are we ever going to use it in our lives.” The fact is math will be used in our lives quite frequently. For example, if we go watch a softball game all it is, is one giant math problem. Softball math can be used in many
What is the matrix? The matrix is an artificial world, which has been pulled over to blind us from the truth, that we are slaves (Matrix,1999). We are trapped in a prison for our minds (Matrix,1999). We will never really get to feel, touch, or see anything for ourselves, except objects created through the matrix.
So let's begin by discussing what the Matrix is not. The Matrix is not the physical world. As far as I'm concerned, the physical world is actually real and is in fact governed ceaselessly by the laws of physics. Conversely, the Matrix is also not the Internet, despite what many seem to believe. The Matrix spans and transcends both these worlds. It has existed since the dawn of civilization, and it will continue to exist until its collapse.
My first opportunity to use math outside the academic world was in my part time job with United parcel Service. It was an eye-opener for me in that mathematical techniques, in combination with computers, could be used for solving very complicated real-life problems, such as predicting and controlling the continuos flow of 300 million packages per day. I was deeply impressed by the numerical masterpieces of Jim Gilkinson and Dick Marga, the project managers. They led the way in showing how one could overcome some serious limitations of computers for solving linear systems of equations.
The Matrix is the war between man and machine, and the possibility that reality is a deception. In a sense, the Matrix is a constant struggle of identity and reality. This struggle of identity and reality is based around the character of Thomas Anderson, an ordinary person living a mundane life.
...for modelling large management and scheduling problems. These include the optimization of flight schedules, the scheduling of staff, and the planning of equipment maintenance. Combinatorics is also used in areas as miscellaneous as cryptography (which is a necessity for top secret government issues, among other government-related matters, as to prevent hacking), planning an efficient layout of a factory floor, electronic security, improving telecommunications signals, and synchronizing traffic lights. One could clearly see the major effect this part of mathematics has on our modern, advanced world. It really is an important topic that is quite often overlooked at by many. Some job titles it offers are: Software Developer; Research analyst; Consultant; Application developer; and Quality assurance analyst. (Combinatorics and Optimization, The University of Waterloo).
The Matrix is a film, while classified as sci-fi, mirrors the growing influence and mistrust of technology today. At the time of the film’s release, an audience may have
The Matrix shows the doubts on how reality and truth is or isn’t. How people actually perceive reality, truth, is really different on how other people do. The reality of something can change over time. On how choices affect the timeline of events and the future of yourself and other people. This movie makes philosophy be more understandable and have modern concept, showing how to doubt our reality, how different is the perspective and truth of people, and on how the choices affect our reality.
Linear algebra is the study of linear transformations of linear equations which are represented in a matrix form by matrices acting on vectors. Eigenvalues, eigenvectors and Eigen space are properties of a matrix (Sharma, n.d.). The prefix “Eigen” which means “proper” or “characteristics” was originally developed in German and invented by a German mathematician. Latent roots, characteristic roots, proper values or characteristics value are few common terms of eigenvalues. They are a special set of scalars allied with a linear system of equations for instance a matrix equation. In engineering and physics field, knowledge about eigenvalues and eigenvectors are very crucial where it is corresponding to diagonalization of matrix. They are practice in vibrating system with small oscillations, concepts of rotating bodies, as well as stability analysis. Corresponding eigenvectors will be paired with their eigenv...
Many years ago humans discovered that with the use of mathematical calculations many things can be calculated in the world and even the universe. Mathematics consists of many different operations. The most important that is used by mathematicians, scientists and engineers is the derivative. Derivatives can help make calculations of anything with respect to another event or thing. Derivatives are mostly common when used with respect to time. This is a very important tool in this revolutionary world. With derivatives we can calculate the rate of change of anything with respect to time. This way we can have a sort of knowledge of upcoming events, and the different behaviors events can present. For example the population growth can be estimated applying derivatives. Not only population growth, but for example when dealing with plagues there can be certain control. An other example can be with diseases, taking all this events together a conclusion can be made.
Mathematics is everywhere we look, so many things we encounter in our everyday lives have some form of mathematics involved. Mathematics the language of understanding the natural world (Tony Chan, 2009) and is useful to understand the world around us. The Oxford Dictionary defines mathematics as ‘the science of space, number, quantity, and arrangement, whose methods, involve logical reasoning and use of symbolic notation, and which includes geometry, arithmetic, algebra, and analysis of mathematical operations or calculations (Soanes et al, Concise Oxford Dictionary,
Devlin believes that mathematics has four faces 1) Mathematics is a way to improve thinking as problem solving. 2) Mathematics is a way of knowing. 3) Mathematics is a way to improve creative medium. 4) Mathematics is applications. (Mann, 2005). Because mathematics has very important role in our life, teaching math in basic education is as important as any other subjects. Students should study math to help them how to solve problems and meet the practical needs such as collect, count, and process the data. Mathematics, moreover, is required students to be capable of following and understanding the future. It also helps students to be able to think creativity, logically, and critically (Happy & Listyani, 2011,
