Throughout society, we as people have been harming our great nature with gasoline operated vehicles. Gasoline operated cars have many negative impacts on us. Some negative impacts may include polluting the air, being more dangerous, and more parts which leads the car to brake down easily. Other disadvantages of gasoline operated cars are the price you’re going to have to pay for gas, and having to warm up your car in the morning. For battery operated cars there will be no need for any of this. Although society has been using gasoline operated cars for many years, we as a society should switch to electric battery power operated cars.
Electric battery operated cars have such potential saving gas in the long run. There is a dramatic price different between the gas and the electric operated car. For example if you drive 15,000 miles and regular is at $3.54 a gallon you will be spending up to $1,900 a year. And that’s as of today. On the other hand, electric operated cars are 1,400 cheaper. For example if you drive for 15,000 miles and electricity price is .12kilowatt/ hr it will be $500 a year to charge your battery. Also you have to take in account the price your paying for your cars and if its really worth it. But as time goes electric car prices will drop dramatically. As gas is increasing everyday more and more, and as time goes by it will be even more worth it to have an electric battery operated car.
