After studying a GCSE and while studying this Diploma, a degree course within Media was an obvious choice to study at university. Initially studying GSCE Media as a fluke, my passion for the subject as grew throughout MidKent College and will continue you grow with yourselves and in due course into employment. Accomplishing and studying a production degree in the media sector will greatly increase the chances of gaining relevant entry career employment in something that I thoroughly enjoy. By moving on to the next educational step in my life, my knowledge and understanding of the arts will dramatically increase as there's only so much you're able to learn from a level three Diploma course. Once leaving university and accomplishing my degree I hope to either study futher for a master's degree or gain enough work placement experience to launch my production company. A theory and practice degree will enable doors to open in my future or even while I'm studying, the more doors that are opened the greater chance you have of succeeding. Employment status for my demographic is appalling ...
Thereafter, I realized that I have a great deal of potential in the field of education, but I must further my education in order to realize that potential. I found that
Before we could start our own company, we needed to obtain degrees in our separate fields of expertise. I obtained an MFA in Producing with a Minor in Cinematic Arts, teaching me how to become a successful producer and to dabble in many aspects involved in film making. This enabled her to have a diverse set of skills. Franchesca obtained an MFA in Film and Television Production with a Minor in Digitals Studies, which enabled her to become strong in the field o...

Whether you are looking for improvement at your workplace or looking to switch it out completely – you know what you want. This is why it is important to realize what the benefits you get out of taking particular classes are.

Education has played a significant role in both my immediate and long term goals. Without an education I would not be able to reach my long term goal to become an Occupational Therapist. An education has given me the feeling of success and a lifetime of pride. Through my past struggles in college I have learned valuable key aptitudes needed, such as, dedication, attendance, and organization, in becoming a successful student. Through my achievements such as making Dean’s list, Chancellor’s list, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Studies I have learned I am motivated and capable of accomplishing my goals and

A Journey to Amelioration The primary theme of my Senior Spring Project will be self-improvement. While I have been happy with my time in High School so far, I definitely have a lot of maturing to do before I will be ready for College. My intention throughout the project is to mature both mentally and physically. In order to mature mentally, I’ve decided to not drop two of my more difficult classes.

Media can present content that seems and is more or less real, however, it is our duty as the viewers to be able to distinguish, and differentiate between “reflections of reality, and constructions of reality”. The prime targets of the media are young people because they so unwittingly believe everything the media tells them, from “how to talk, how to dress, and how to relate to others”. This newspaper article, seeing is not believing by Leslie Fruman is essentially explaining that now “for the first time students will take a mandatory course to help separate fantasy from reality in the media.” The mandatory course is referred to as media literacy, and will teach young people the classifications of reality and fantasy.
My education is something that has shaped who I am today more than I realized. To the people who have been involved in my education. For the goal I have set for myself it’s a dream a dream with plan. For that goal I have set high expectations.
I selected art education as a major because I have a drive for educating others and because my passion for art is unlimited. My excitement is uncontainable for my future career and to be able to teach others the knowledge I know. Vincent Van Gogh said “I dream of painting and then painted my dream,” and I cannot wait to live my dream in the University of Northern Art Art Education
Education is not just what your major is, it is also what you learn along the way. It's about learning about life and who you are. All the while becoming specialized so that you may contribute to yourself and society. It's a journey, and for those of us fortunate enough to embark on that journey I hope that we make the most of it.
As a communications major, I plan on knowing media literacy inside and out to the best of my ability.
Perhaps the strongest foundation for media education rests in the fact that increased awareness of media transforms students from passive to active participants in society. Learners must be offered hands-on application opportunities to increase their own knowledge and enjoyment of the media. The integration of formal media analysis with media production is an essential constituent of media literacy. Creative ventures, such as television or radio production, the development of a rock video or song, photography classes, script-writing, web-page development, or hypertext projects should be made available for students' participation and perusal. Students must be exposed to various forms of communication before they can recognize logical disparities, determine the strength of an argument, evaluate mass media, and actively join our democratic society as partners.
