Humankind is constantly in search of answers about life. Where we come from, the purpose for life, while history is written day by day, minute by minute, carrying joys and burdens and preparing human destiny for the lives to come.

Susan Griffin writes, “What is buried in the past of one generation falls on to the next to claim” (Ways of Reading 379).

History forges who we are and what we are, but each one of us contributes to create history. Quintessentially we are all like micro molecules forming the body of humanity. Can a molecule live by itself? To say it like Susan Griffin, can a human being live for and by itself being free of the fate of others? An unwritten law, given by an intelligent design keeps life alive, that of interconnections. Every human being, like it or not, is connected with other human beings and the natural environment. Every single action and thought of us reflects on others.

It is universally accepted that life has the right to be, and that the main desire of man is happiness, which does not derive from death or violence. Why then is human history burdened by entropic pages of violence and war? Why does humanity seem to pursue the culture of death?

There is a common agreement on condemning the Nazi ideology and the Holocaust, and while refusing and reproaching the machine of death perpetrated in the concentration camps, we paradoxically continue something that Hitler started, through the abortion practice.

Our concept of a medical doctor, is that of the figure of him who heals and saves lives, although this is not always true. A medical person frees the womb from the fetus; physicians created euthanasia to “purify the German race.” The first gas chamber was designed in German Universit...
