9/11
One of the most known and worst events occurred on September 11, 2001. Terror attacks occurred in the United States of America in the cities of Washington D.C. and New York City. An Al-Qaeda terrorist group organized this attack by sending terrorists on four different airplanes to crash into the World Trade Center in New York City, and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center, while another one was targeted for the Pentagon. Although one plane hit the Pentagon, the other went off course and crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. The plane that crashed into a field in Pennsylvania was supposed to either hit the White House or the Capital building. Over 3,000 people died and this day in history was one of the most deadly days in history for New York firefighters (The History Channel). 9/11 is the reason for drastic change in the first decade of the 20th century.
Osama Bin-Laden was the leader and founder of terrorist organization, Al-Qaeda. He has set out to abuse the United States as much as he can. The terror attacks on September 11th was not the first time he was involved with killing Americans. According to The History Channel, Osama Bin-Laden was held accountable for the bombings of the United States Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania and killed hundreds of people. United States, he also sent out a boat with explosives destroyed the U.S.S. Cole. Osama Bin-Laden set out to receive revenge on the west, which is the United States, for a while. Ever since he was in college believed Muslims should be an Islamic state. He did not like what he saw on western influence of the Middle East in America so he decided to rise against...
