The necklace laid upon her cold chest. Every bit of her felt sulken in. Every piece of the girl she used to know. vanished all with just a piece of jewelry. Needy people are often encountered in life. Whether its on a daily, weekly, monthly even yearly basis, you will. I can guarantee you either know someone needy or someone who is just so unsatisfied with their life. In Guy De Maupassant’s story The Necklace, the main character is portrayed as a crude, distasteful, dull women. Mme. Loisel is not the uttermost elegant and poised woman. Not at all, but that is who she wants to be. Madame Loisel gets invited to an elegant evening reception. No, she does not have the maximum expensive clothing items or any jewels to wear.
