My persuasive speech was well-organized because having the outline formal helped with organizing. I enjoyed how each point flowed with each other and connected. My main ideas fit well with refutation because people have many opinions and views on pit bulls, so having be able to share my reasons and back them up with facts felt reasonable. Refutation fits well with the topic in general because people often assume straight away that pit bulls are vicious. It was nice to be able to give my main points that refute society’s perceptions of the breed.
