Ever since the film has been announced, fans of NTR have been anxiously awaiting for the release of Nannaku Prematho. With the trailer have been received well and setting new records on YouTube and the buzz around the film being high, Nannaku Prematho has become most-awaited Sankranthi release. Also the film facing some obstacles from some political personalities, it has created further hype. So does the film lives up to the buzz? Let’s find out. Story: The story is set in London. Thankfully, this is not as complicated as 1 Nenokkadine. Nannaku Prematho is a simple story of a son taking revenge on the guy who did wrong to his father. A typical commercial storyline but since it is Sukumar’s movie it is told in lavish, stylish and emotional way with too much stress on logic, science, butterfly effect, psychology. The film puts burden on your mind at the same time gives pleasure for being different from the regular commercial entertainers. Sukumar reveals the total story and hero’s mission in the very beginning and focuses on how NTR woos Rakul in the first half which is enjoyable one. The love track between NTR and Rakul, though full of geometry and other things, reeks of novelty. Trouble begins in the second half as the revenge drama is dragged on and on. This film unlike most others on the same topic had no real event to focus on. There was not just one climax or specific scene that the others built up to or supported. I cannot say that I enjoyed it but I do feel it has to a great extent affected me. The only reason I feel that this film is one worth watching is because of the latent message it holds. It very successfully exposes authority and bureaucracy in society. The characters in this film portray people that are either convinced or have been convinced that are crazy.
I like the artistic picture in the film and I think that the true story conforms enough. In my opinion, this film does not reach the top mark, mostly because of the perceived missing sequences. I would give the film the mark 4 out of 5.
...s film is tense enough that you are on edge from the production company logo to the ending credits. Having been horribly desensitized to fictional violence over the years, it is refreshing to see a movie that is not afraid to invoke the natural emotion during a horror film to its most extreme. This also leads to the knowledge that not everything will come out rosy for some, if not all, of our core group.
...r, this movie is lack of depth of storyline. The audiences can even predict what will happen in the next scenes. Moreover, the ending of this movie is too cheesy and irrational according to me. If only they change the ending to become more interesting and rational, I will give a four or five stars out of five. In spite of a lame twist ending, this movie is a perfect example to show that managers should be able to motivate and challenge their employee. It is important to remember that a happy employee means a productive employee.
I have to disagree with both these reviews. I believed that the story was brilliantly written and the cinematography was beautiful. This movie touched me and had me in tears which believe me is hard to do. I do agree with the New York Times and New Yorker that it was a little dragged out and that Kiera Knightly acting was over rated. Other than that I would defiantly recommend this movie.
I feel that the movie has no weaknesses. This is because even though I had a few things I didn’t like such as the anonymity given, I realised that there was a reason for this which I explained in my strengths of the movie below.
3. Results? A great script, concentrated direction, brilliant lighting and cinematography, etc. all helped make the film very good. But the core of this film is definitely the emotion. The acting was wonderful and the story was nothing short of great. These were the hearts of the film.

This film is divided into two separate parts. First, is a story that shows a situation in Italy during the Nazi occupation of World War II. There are a couple of members of a secret underground movement that try to keep the Nazis away from them. This movement is made up of poor Italians, who are troubled by the war and other Nazi ideologies. One of the members of the revolutionist group is engaged to a mother of the young boy, and the wedding is about to take place in a matter of days. But all sorts of problems follow, and all of this is based on how the Nazis will finally catch up with these traitors. The second, more effective and emotional part of the film is a tragic melodrama.
