“The first night at camp, which turned my life into one long night, seven times cursed and seven times sealed.”(32). Elie Wiesel wrote those words in his autobiography about the time he spent in concentration camps, and the hardships he went through during World War II. It started from the first time the Germans came to the little village of Sighet, Transylvania where he lived at the time, all the way until he was liberated. Night is an educational book about true events Elie Wiesel experienced during the Holocaust, that everyone should read at least once in their lives. The last two chapters are the most important and riveting points during Elie’s life in the concentration camps. It was at this point where he and his father had arrived
