The topic of my book is Mathematical Thinkers. There exists five sections in this book. It describes the contents about math and mathematicians, such as the earliest kind of math, ancient mathematicians, european mathematicians, the beginnings of modern math and math today and tomorrow. The book covers the mathematicians' famous books, discoveries, systems and theories. Our world is filled with numbers, consequently, math plays an important role in our daily life. The development of the discipline math has been made great progress from the ancient times to now. It almost owes to the wisdom of the mathematicians. From the book, I comprehend many sources and processes of the generation of the mathematical theories and discoveries. On the one hand, there are many merits in this book. In terms of the writing organization and techniques, the theme of each part of the book is clear-cut and definite. The book is written based on the chronological order to present the process of math and the contributions of the mathematicians. Thus, we can read it perspicuously. Moreover, there are many photos and illustrations in the book and they are effective in enhancing the book's message. As for the content, I realize that our world is filled with numbers far and near. It's convenient for us to use math to tackle problems. In modern times, math is the basis of the whole scientific system. Nearly every major breakthrough in math can bring about a major breakthrough in science. It could even say that among the multitudinous approaches of our understanding of the universe, mathematics is one of the shortest paths to truth. I hope government and big charities can donate and invest some funds to encourage the mathematicians and those who ardently love math to innovate and experiment in the field of
